Party Time – Monday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp

Today I am participating in the Monday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp!

Products used:

• Gold embossing powder
• White embossing powder
• Versamark ink
• Embossing buddy
• Distress oxide ink – blueprint sketch, salty ocean, picked raspberry
• Blending tool
• Yay stamp set from CZ design\Simon says stamp
• Yay coordinating dies
• Simple sentiments 02 stamp set from CZ design\Simon says stamp
• Ornate background stamp from Simon says stamp

Techniques or tips and tricks

• Take white paper, apply embossing buddy, stamp ornate stamp with versamark. Emboss with gold
• Blend distress oxide Ink as desired
• Take black scrap paper, apply embossing buddy, stamp “yay” and “can we party” in versamark and emboss in white. Emboss a second time for a good solid white image
• Thread the scrap strip “can we party” through the ‘y’s and glue the ends to the card front
