Greetings! Today is a special day! It’s a Picket Fence Studios collaboration with Pear Blossom Press! Head on over to my IG to join the IG HOP there with a chance to win prizes! Come back to see how the card is made!

First I cut out all the pieces for the Welcome Home Bun Bun from Picket Fence Studios in white card stock. Then I used a fun arrangement of Tim Holtz Mica Spray Stains to color each piece before assembling. I even masked off the house base piece and sprayed on and orange in the center and the ends with greens so I had an extra layer of depth to play with.
- Oranges: Sugary Gumdrop, Jack-o-lantern, and Mulled Cider
- Greens: Wicked Elixer, Bubbling Cauldron, and Specimen
- Browns: Unravelled, Croooked Broomstick, and Fallen Acorn

I used a fineliner to write “Press Here” around the door window. Don’t be afraid to write your own sentiments if the Pear Blossom Press Stamp and Die Set ones don’t fit what you need!
I also trimmed off the darker front grass piece into two humps on the left and right side to show the base’s lighter green near the door.
For this fun card, I used the longer One Light that comes in the Halo One Light Combo set. This One Light works the same as the Original One Light but it is thinner and longer so you can use it in different card designs where you want the button farther away from the light.

To get a light up effect for this card, I used a 3/4″ circle punch to cut a hole in the solid backer piece for the carrot house assembly. I then covered the hole with the Pear Blossom Press Vellum using the 3/4″ circle punch. The frame of the window gives you a surface to mount the vellum circle to like an inlay on the back piece.

To finish the card, I used the Pear Blossom Press World’s Greatest Foam Tape to popup the carrot house on a blue card base. The clouds have a white shimmer spray to coordinate with the shimmer on the house.
