Greetings! Let’s have some fun with products from Pear Blossom Press today!

For this card I used the super EZ…. EZ Lights from Pear Blossom Press to light up the headlights on this adorable safari jeep. EZ Lights come with three lights but you can trim off any you don’t need. I trimmed off one so I just had one for each headlight. For the headlight look, I trimmed out the headlights and put 1/2″ Pear Blossom Press Vellum behind it for the lights to shine through.

I decided the jeep might also be bouncing along a dirt road on the safari so I grabbed a Mini Action Wobbler from Pear Blossom Press to give it a fun movement along with the lights.

To learn more about the adorable stamps and layout used for this card, hop on over to the companion post at Gerda Steiner Designs Blog today! If you just want to jump to buy the stamp set, I used the Gerda Steiner Designs Go Wild! stamp set.

I figured out my placement so I could poke a hole in the background to be hidden by the jeep and feed the lights through. I added some more Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink to the tops of the Tim Holtz Funky Trees for a fun glow in the sunset look.

I actually forgot to take a photo of my light assembly on the back but luckily I was using Pear Blossom Press World’s Greatest Foam Tape and I easily removed it from the card base to take the photo within 30minutes haha!

All of this gets mounted onto a black card base and then I trimmed off the overhang of the trees and added the characters! I decided to add more dimension to the sunset look by having the ground black as well and embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder over Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink. Don’t forget “PUSH” from your Pear Blossom Press Stamp Set like I do… every… time bwahah! Thank goodness for my Misti!

Here’s a quick assembly video to show you how easy this was to make once I had all the pieces.
