Pear Blossom Press: Hoppy Easter Light-up!

I chose the Pear Blossom Press Twinkle Lights today because I thought these fun Lawn Fawn images could use a glam up! The little eggs in the Lawn Fawn Giant Easter Messages were perfect to light up on this card. To blend the white oval with the frame, I inked up the edges with Distress Ink Squeezed Lemonade.

I spiced up the background with some Mystic Rainbow Toner Foil using the Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo and a polka dot stencil. After the gel set, I ran the toner foil and stenciled paper through my Minc and just love how it turned out on this Kraft paper.

For the glitter frame around the Lawn Fawn Giant Easter Messages I tossed around the glitter idea or using gold foil card stock and either the scalloped edge oval from Lawn Fawn Giant Holiday Messages Dies or the more decorative scallop from the matching Lawn Fawn Giant Easter Messages Dies. I love that all the “Giant Messages” coordinate with each other and can interchange different oval dies. It just depends on what look you’re going for!

I then added characters from Lawn Fawn Chirpy Chirp Chirp and colored those and the Lawn Fawn Giant Easter Messages with my OLO Markers.

Alcohol markers make the paper translucent and perfect for putting lights right behind. I poked a hole in the glitter paper and taped down the lights behind the eggs.

The Pear Blossom Press Twinkle Light battery/button part can be installed on the back of the oval or the back of the card front. It just depends on where you want your button. I chose to have the effect of the oval popped up just on the stencil gel a little bit and have the button be behind the pink egg on the card base.
