Greetings! Let’s have some fun with products from Pear Blossom Press today!

Here’s what we are making in action!
Coloring and assembly video on youtube, link at the bottom of this page, or you can read my quick summary below!
First I had the challenge (for me!) to mask off these cuties to get the mini slimline arranged with the cake in front, party hats on and my choice of candle on the cake.

I then got out the one light from the Pear Blossom Press Halo Light Combo Pack and the traditional Pear Blossom Press One Light to see which one was best to use for this card. My card layout needed a bit more reach so I chose the longer one light from the Pear Blossom Press Halo Light Combo Pack

I ink blended (everything masked off) with Salvaged Patina Distress Ink and then splattered with Kuretake Gem watercolors for a party feel.
I used a T-square to draw the line to show a table under the puppy paws.

Don’t forget to give in and cut your stamps! This is an awesome sentiment I wanted to use, but it was stacked and the way my card played out, I needed a straight line sentiment. Cut it!!! You can always stick it back the same way on a block or in your misti. I used Simon Says Stamp Grid Transparency to make sure I got it in a straight line in my Misti.

I took the Pear Blossom Press Stamp and Die Set and cut out the small die for the candle flame and then placed the best text (push here script) on the paw where the button will be. The candle cut out was backed with Pear Blossom Press Vellum so I could place the Gems – Yellow Candle Flames on it for a 3D candle flame.

I put this panel up on Pear Blossom Press World’s Greatest Foam Tape and mounted on to the card base with a 1/8″ matching border.
