Greetings! Let’s have some fun with products from Pear Blossom Press today!
Here’s what we are making in action!

Cut a top fold A2 easel card base (4-1/4 x 11), score at 5-1/2 as usual and then again on the top piece at 2-3/4 (half).
Then to make it a shape easel, I used the larger die in Unity Stamp Company Scallops & Arches {nesting dies} to die cut the shaped card base.
I stamped the cute Unity Stamp Company Bot You a Present stamp on the next die in the nesting die set and planned out where the light will go and where the “push” button needs to be.
I paired it with the Pear Blossom Press Halo Light Combo Pack One Light and then stamped the “push” from the Pear Blossom Press Stamp and Die Set.
I cut a navy blue panel to match the card base- so I have a piece to glue to the bottom half of the easel and also mount the light up panel onto.
Then I colored the image with my OLO Markers.
To get the finished look, I cut a rough mask and temporarily adhered to the image.
I then ink blended clouds using the Lawn Fawn Slimline Cloudy Stencil and Distress Ink Tumbled Glass.
Then I finished it off with some matching Kuretake Pearl Watercolor splatter.
Now we’re ready for the double thick foam tape (Pear Blossom Press World’s Greatest Foam Tape) and to finish the card!
The light is mounted right behind the heart with the button positioned behind “push”.
The navy panel is mounted to the card base ONLY on the bottom half of the front of the card. Then the light up panel is mounted to the navy panel.
I put a sentiment on the inside popped up on thin foam tape to use as the prop up for the easel standing up.
