Greetings! Let’s have some fun with products from Unity Stamp Company today! I’m using the Off We Grow. Coloring and assembly video at the end of this post!

Here’s what we are making in action!

Supplies Used:

Here’s the full video of the assembly! Scroll down for coloring with OLOs.

  1. Stamp the front and back view stamps from the Off We Grow stamp set on scrap marker safe paper
  2. Cut out both images with the middle scallop die from Scallops & Squares {nesting dies} and color the images
  3. Create an A2 (4.25″ x 5.5″) card base with white cardstock.
  4. On the left panel, draw a pencil line down the center at 2.125”
  5. Line up the middle scallop die from Scallops & Squares {nesting dies} centered on the line and towards the top where you have the same distance from the top as to the left and right
  6. Partial die cut by only having your die cut plates sandwich on the left side of the die, stopping at the pencil line
  7. Erase the pencil line and score above and below the square scallop at 2.125” (where the pencil was) and also score at 4.25”
  8. Fold and burnish in a Z-fold
  9. Decorate the card base by stamping Just A Number Background Stamp Set on the front and back of the card front, rotating with different colors for a mixed media look. Sample uses Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide.
  10. Decorate the inside of the card with Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide for Jot It Down Background Stamp Set, shifting the image and angling different for the two different colors
  11. Cut out another middle scallop square from white scrap and adhere it to the card inside directly behind the colored images when the card is shut
  12. Add a yellow 1.375” scallop circle on the inside with the sentiment “Have the best first day” on a 1.25” white circle on top
  13. Stamp the “Back to School” sentiment on scrap white paper and color in alternating colors
  14. Die cut using the 2nd smallest tag from Everyday Essentials Tag Set and add black and white bakers twine
  15. Adhere to the front of the card, only on the left side so it will move with the open and shut of the card
